About the SETAC Vehicle
The SMDC SETAC was created to provide timely, energetic, and cost-effective
development of technologies for defense against evolving threats
and to coordinate all technology base development to maximize benefits
for strategic and theater missile defense and air/space technology
programs. The purpose of the contract is to obtain systems
engineering and technical assistance for the US Army Space &
Missile Defense Command (USA SMDC), Program Executive Office Missiles
& Space (PEO MS), the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense
Joint Project Office (GMD JPO), and other associated US, air, space,
and missile defense organizations. The SETAC contract
is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) Task Order
contract using Fixed-Price Labor Categories.
